Chris King has finally manufactured my head set. I’m sure that’s unnecessary to introduce him and his products. I can’t stop admiring…

Caprine

This logo took place on the head tube. I find it well designed and save it for the memories.

I took the frame and the fork blasted, and then powder coated. My goal was to gain a color like old bikes have and this is the solution. I paid just 8.000 HUF. Thanks in arrears one of my friends for the address.

Theese are those chemicals which are inevitable to prepare the frame and the fork for the powder coating.

This is my old Caprine - Cherokee steel frame, made from Hi-TEN tubing. I got it in 2000 and loved the most! We rode the hills together for years time but now I get her dressed in new clothes.

Since I’ve built my mountain bike I have my old steel frame get to be dusty at the bottom of the cupboard. On the other hand I’ve always wanted a single speed bike which I could run in the city. This led me to the decision to build my own single speed and create a blog that describes the process step by step from the beginning to the end. I hope that you’ll find it interesting and get a feel to hop on your bike and ride.
